Individual Psychotherapy
Weekly one-on-one sessions tailored to your story. We work through trauma, anxiety, depression, grief, attachment patterns, and the things you don't usually say out loud.
Individual psychotherapy, EMDR, family court services, expert witness work, and first responder support — all rooted in trauma-informed, attachment-based care.
Each client's path is different. Below are the core services I offer — most begin with a free 15-minute video or phone consultation.
Weekly one-on-one sessions tailored to your story. We work through trauma, anxiety, depression, grief, attachment patterns, and the things you don't usually say out loud.
Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing — formally trained. EMDR uses bilateral stimulation to help your brain reprocess traumatic memories so they no longer feel like the present.
For couples navigating infidelity, separation, attachment ruptures, or the slow drift that comes after years together. We address the relational system, not just the people in it.
Childhood abuse and neglect, sexual abuse, traumatic grief, accident or assault — extensive training in post-traumatic stress, complex trauma, and the body-based work needed to actually move through it.
Certified expert witness in abuse matters. Child custody evaluations. Professional consultation for high-conflict custody and parental alienation. Family reunification therapy considered upon consultation with the attorney and family.
With over a decade as a first responder and supervisor, I understand the toll of high-stress traumatic work. Specialized EMDR for Law Enforcement, Firefighters, and Veterans facing vicarious or secondary trauma.
My framework is grounded in attachment theory — the idea that early relationships shape how we relate to ourselves and others throughout life. Within that frame, I draw on three primary modalities:
A structured, evidence-based therapy that uses bilateral stimulation to help the brain reprocess stuck traumatic memories. Especially effective for PTSD, complex trauma, and grief. The work happens in your body and your nervous system, not just in talk.
Identify the thought patterns that keep you stuck — the inner narrator that says "I'm not enough" or "this will never change" — and learn to question and reshape them. A practical, skill-building approach for anxiety, depression, and self-esteem.
A focused, here-and-now approach to the relationships and life transitions causing pain — grief, role conflict, separation, attachment ruptures. Healing happens in connection, and we work with what's alive in your life right now.
It's a low-pressure phone or video call where we talk about what's bringing you to therapy, what you've tried, and what you're hoping for. I'll share how I work and we can decide together if it feels like a fit. No commitment.
Yes — I'm accepting various insurance plans at this time. Reach out and let me know your carrier; I'll confirm whether we're in network and what your visits would cost. I can also provide superbills for out-of-network reimbursement.
EMDR doesn't begin with diving into the worst memory. We spend several sessions establishing trust and learning resourcing techniques you can rely on. When we move into reprocessing, we use eye movements (or tapping/audio bilateral stimulation) while you hold a target memory in mind. The brain does the work; my job is to keep the space safe and pace it well.
Yes — secure video sessions for clients across New Jersey. EMDR is well-supported in telehealth using on-screen bilateral stimulation. Many clients prefer the comfort of doing this work from their own space.
Yes. For issues relating to parental alienation and high-conflict custody disputes, I provide professional consultation, expert witness services in abuse matters, and child custody evaluations. Family reunification therapy is considered upon consultation with the attorney and family. Contact me directly for fees and rates.
It depends on the work. Some clients come in for a focused course of EMDR around a specific event and feel resolution in a few months. Others are addressing layered, lifelong patterns and stay with me longer. We'll talk early and often about progress and what makes sense for you.
