About the practice.
Licensed Clinical Social Worker. EMDR-trained trauma therapist. Years of experience inside the child welfare system, plus corrections and acute psychiatric care. Private practice serving New Jersey clients in person and via telehealth.
The path here was the work itself.
The therapist behind this practice trained as a clinical social worker and built a career in the rooms most people would rather not see — years inside the child welfare system, correctional substance use treatment, and acute psychiatric care.
The lesson from that work: trauma doesn't end when the event ends. It lives in the body, in relationships, in the way we expect the world to treat us next. And it can be addressed — not erased, but processed, integrated, and turned into something you can carry without it carrying you.
Specialized training in EMDR.
This practice is formally trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) — one of the most well-researched modalities for processing traumatic memory, and the foundation of the work done here.
Additional certifications include Violence Against Women and Children and Traumatic Grief Counseling. Together, these inform an attachment-based, eclectic approach to therapy — meeting you where you are and tailoring the technique to what your nervous system actually needs.

How I work.
My approach is grounded in an attachment-based framework, with an eclectic blend of evidence-based techniques: EMDR, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Interpersonal Psychotherapy. The goal isn't to push you through a protocol — it's to build the kind of trust that makes deep work possible.
I provide authenticity during our sessions. I want you to feel comfortable and seen. Establishing trust is the most important part of healing trauma. I look forward to hearing your story.
